Hi, I'm David! I'm a first-year student on the PhD track at Columbia's Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) Department. 

I recently graduated from Swarthmore College, earning High Honors with a B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science. There, I was fortunate enough to work with Professors Linda Chen, Ian Whitehead, Lucas Van Meter, and Cathy Hsu. I was also honored as the sole recipient of the Heinrich W. Brinkmann Award, given to "a set of graduating seniors who have demonstrated dedication to the field and to the Department of Mathematics and Statistics," as well as the Lippincott Fellowship to support my graduate studies.

In my free time, you'll find me running in Central Park or the West Side Highway and swimming in the Dodge Fitness Center. Check out my Strava.
